Restaurants in Toronto?

A friend and I are going to Toronto this weekend and staying at the Delta Chelsea. We are looking for somewhere close to the hotel or really anywhere on Yonge St. to eat at for dinner. Anything with good hearty portions and cheap eats/mid-priced. We do not like Thai or Indian food or anything like that. Thanks!
