What happened to my radio?

I was in the car and my brother turned the radio up way too loud. The music stopped and we heard a loud pop and static afterwards and electrical smoke was coming out of the dashboard. The speakers are still responsive with static but the radio stopped working. What is the problem and how do i fix it?
